Help Car Problems! :(?

02 Mitsubishi Galant 175,xxx miles

Driving normal pushed gas and weird tapping noise and car just stops, wont turn over only clicking noise when turning the key, smoke coming out of under the car in the front passenger side, little bit of smoke coming out of the place you put the oil too. Check oil light was randomly flashing but put in oil and it stopped. I was once told it has an oil leak from the head gasket? Belts where getting kinds loud and was planning on changing within the week. Also would take a few seconds to start. Maybe a belt broke? Please help :(

Update:

Lights still work so battery is not dead. I dont think it is the alternator.

    If the battery is good, take it out and put a newer car around it.

    Can you grab a hold of the serpentine belt and rotate the engine? If not, the engine is seized. If you can rotate it, have the battery, alternator and starter tested.

    From what you describe, you've got a lot more going on than we can diagnose here. You have to have it towed to a mechanic.

    Maybe it's time to give it away.
