No symptoms. Normal pregnancy or signs of miscarriage?

I am 4 weeks,4 days pregnant and I am worried because I am not feeling any symptoms. I am just scared that I am going to miscarry. What are signs of a miscarriage? And if I don't have any symptoms now, does that mean the the pregnancy is ok, or does it mean the the pregnancy is not going well? Please help!!

  • No symptoms does not necessarily mean you are going to miscarry. Many women have no symptoms (lucky ladies). I didn't' really start having symptoms until around week 10.

Signs of miscarriage often include vaginal bleeding and/or cramping that is not alleviated with rest and hydration. Unfortunately there is little that can be done to stop a miscarriage at such an early stage of pregnancy. Sometimes there is just something wrong with the baby and it won't be viable, so it's the bodies way of taking care of it before it becomes a bigger problem. Or sometimes there is something to do with your body at that time that makes you miscarry. The good thing to know is that with each passing day, week, month...you are less likely to miscarry. However, I say again...no symptoms does not equal likely to miscarry...enjoy the easy pregnancy while you have it!

Take it easy, think positive, and best of luck.

  • I've had 3 miscarriages and 2 normal pregnancies. I could compare the symptoms of either and not find a whole lot of differences. My breast tenderness with my 1st pregnancy lasted about 12 weeks, with my 2nd, it was mostly gone by 7-8 weeks. During my miscarriages, it also disappeared early, so I don't know that the decreased discomfort means anything. Also, the lower back pain can happen at any time during a normal pregnancy, so that is not necessarily an indicator. Even bleeding, which is soo scary, doesn't necessarily indicate a miscarriage. I bled with both of my successful pregnancies. If you start to bleed, call your doctor and insist on being seen immediately. If he/she won't see you, go to the er, and then change doctors after. A doctor that won't see a scared patient isn't the right one to be with! Good luck and baby dust your way!

  • Signs Of Miscarriage

  • You have nothing to worry about. Some woman don't have any symptoms until they're about 5 or 6 weeks. You found out pretty early, so I hope you've set up an appointment with an OB/GYN. Its a lot better when you see the doctor as soon as you find out so they can perform all of the tests they need to. You will also be a lot less worried talking with your doc about any concerns. Good luck!

  • Sadly,I miscarried at 5 week a year ago, and my symptoms were: started with sharp lower backache, the next day bright red spotting for a few hours, followed by huge blood clots.

With my other 2 pregnancies, my symptoms started at 6 weeks, like nausea, vomiting......

Having no symptoms is a good thing, I am sure you are fine!!! Good luck!

  • signs of pregnancy dont normal happen till you are about 6- 8 weeks pregnant

    symptoms of misccariage are

The most common symptom is vaginal bleeding, which can range from light spotting to heavier than a period. You may see blood clots, brown discharge or other tissue that is not clearly identifiable.

Often there is cramping, with pelvic or back-pain. You may find that the usual symptoms of pregnancy, such as breast tenderness, feeling sick and having to pass urine more frequently than usual, stop unexpectedly.

i suggest that you stop worryin hun or you could put yourself and your baby in alot of danager .

i also suspect by what you have said that the pregnancy is goin ok x

  • symptoms normal pregnancy signs miscarriage

  • When I was pregnant before, I had no symptoms. The only reason I knew I was pregnant was because of a positive urine test from my OB/GYN and I didn't have any periods. Miscarriage symptoms are heavy bleeding and severe cramping.

  • you are fine! Symptoms of pregnancy is at 12 weeks. I think miscarriage symptoms might feel like period cramps. Good Luck!

  • Don't worry. It's very normal not to feel anything this early on. The only symptoms I had before 6 weeks were that I was tired and had to pee a lot.
