How do I add a shortcut to my mac OS Leopard desktop?
Hi,
I'm new to mac. I feel like an idiot asking this because I'm sure its very simple. I have an application in my applications folder, and I have a shortcut to the application on my dock, but I want a shortcut on the desktop as well. How do I make one?
Thanks a lot,
Frank

Highlight the application you want, look under file for Make Alias, after the alias appears drag it to the desktop. It will say the name of the file with an alias and a small arrow showing that it is not the original.
you open the application folder and drag it on to the dock
If you need any more help just ask
If you want to delete it just drag away
it wouldn;t artwork. in keeping with possibility the server might sent the shorcut report (a .lnk) yet no rely if opened (it would be blcoked by utilising utilising default) it would reference that acceptable's computing gadget, no longer shrink back to the server.
