1987 kawasaki kz 1000 turns over but has no spark at plug
I take it that all 4 cylinders have no spark, if so then it would seem to me that either the ignition coil/pack or/and distributor has failed, if it has an ignition pack then it won't have the distributor.
Make sure your kill switch is in the right spot.
the two things it could be would be failed spark plugs, maybe gapped wrong.
Or it could be the ignition coil, which would cause there to be no sparks at all which is much more likely.
Turn the kill switch back on.
change the spark plugs then.
