1990 ford ranger break pedal has no pressure?

i have a 1990 ford ranger 2.9 litre 4x4 and the brake pedal has no pressure so we checked them out the break do work we even bleed them but it mad o diffrence please help

  • you need a new mater cylinder

  • often a sign of air in system. make sure you bleed BOTH sides as it uses a tandem system so old fashioned method won't work. probably an internal fault with master cylinder though and a sign of a failed piston seal. best to have an exchange unit.

  • Either you have air in the brake lines somewhere, or you have a bad master cylinder.

  • if you got all the air out then it must be the master cylinder bad.
