2007 Honda Accord vs Toyota Camry 2007 Which to buy?

Which car should I go with. I will be daily driving it everyday and I want decent handling and comfort. If you were to buy one, which one you buy and why? Please tell me. I know I will go for the 4 cylinder model for sure for refine gas mileage.

  • It is rather a toss-up. The 2010 Car Reliability GPA of the 4-cylinder Camry is 3.69 (on the standard scale of 0.00 to 4.00), and the 2010 Car Reliability GPA of the 4-cylinder Honda Accord is 3.81. Both have a 10-year CR data history.

And although Toyota dominates AutoOnInfo.net's High Mileage Roster, the car with the greatest accumulated mileage is a Honda Accord, with 633,256 on 2007-02-20.

I think, if all other is equal, such as car maintenance by the previous owners, you may safely toss a coin.

  • personally I think it's a coin flip. Whichever car drives the best, feels the most comfortable and the one you like the way it looks is the car you should buy.

As far as reliability and resale value there isn't a dollars differrence between the two. I will say that in general the Honda will have the most options available. For instance you can find an Accord with leather, NAV and sunroof a lot easier than you can a Camry.

  • I like the Honda more, but they are both reliable, safe, and get good MPG so i'd just go with the one you can get a better deal on or if you drive a lot the one with the least miles. But please ask the dealer for a carfax you don't want to buy a car and then find out it was in a major accident or was damaged in a flood after it dies on the highway
