Write now i predict........Umaga VS Taker for Wrestlemania 23. Your opinions?

This match would suit perfectly. Umaga having only been defeated once in almost a year and in that loss, it was hardly a no questions asked win anyway, i can see Umaga one week going over to Smackdown maybe just after royal rumble and attacking taker to set up a match at WM23. Taker, the undefeated at Wrestlemania versus Umaga, the once defeated in his career as the character 'Umaga'. Umaga is one of the most dominant superstars in WWE history and the way he has defeated Kane on more than one occasion, and HBK and HHH makes me think he would be an awesome opponent for Taker. What do you think? They might even have an altercation at the Rumble in some form as we all know its smakdown and raw in the 30 man event. Opinions guys, opinions

Update:

To the person who talked about the trade, that doesnt necessarily have to happen. It happened with orton but not all fueds have to be with the superstars from the same roster. I think Lesnar did this with Goldberg once also. It can happen. I have seen superstars come to each others shows leading up to a PPV bout so who knows.

  • i'm not sure if this has been officially finalized yet, but now the plan is for batista vs. undertaker at wm23 with undertaker scheduled to lose. the match will be billed as world title vs. winning streak (which means batista will have the title at least until wrestlemania). personally i want to see the undertaker win and have one final title run to end his career, but that is not what the wwe has in mind right now

  • I think that what you said is true, except with one stipulation. It would be a Triple Threat adding Batista for the World Heavyweight championship. Now, Umaga's (?)-1 career record, Undertaker's undefeated at WrestleMania record, and Batista's World title would be on the line, making it a more aggresive and better to watch match. This would be the Main Event of SD! at WrestleMania 23. Also, I heard a rumor that Undertaker and Kane are retiring soon, so I would like to see Undertaker win the World Heavyweight championship upon retirement, just like Trish Stratus won the Women's title upon retirement.

  • Umaga is strongly rumoured to be the winner of the Rumble. So that means he faces Cena again for the title which would be more logical given how he performed v Cena at NY Revo.Umaga deserves a rematch at that one.

Undertaker & Kane i reckon are due a big stage to work on & what better than a tag match at W/Mania 23?It also keeps Taker's unbeaten record intact as well.

  • Umaga and Undertaker have nothing on each other. Umaga is still in a storyline with John Cena, and you can't trade shows when things are getting good. Besides how do you know if Umaga does come to Smackdown, he'll attack Undertaker or vice/versa? It doesn't make sense.

  • That'd be cool but WWE has Undertaker vs. Batista @ WM23 for Batista's title(Undertaker or Orton r supposed to win the RR) but the sad part is that they r not sure about the outcome of the match yet

  • Soory but that match ain't going to happen. Its already been decided that's its going to be Batista vs The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 23 and Taker is going to lose.

  • If it did happen, which it most likely will not, Taker would win. Triple H vs Cena rematch was scheduled, but then Triple H got injured. I see:

    -Taker winning, whatever the match.

-Shawn Michaels, not on the card.

    -Money In the Bank, again.

    -Big ECW match.

    And then I see:

-John Cena, still with the title, or wrestling for it versus, Orton, or Edge, maybe.

-Batista, still with the title, or wrestling for it.

    or

-Cena vs Batista, in a interpromotional.

  • its not gonna be Umaga vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania, its gonna be Batista loosing the world heavy weight belt to Taker

  • If umaga had won the title and kept his undefeated streak it would have been way more interesting. Nice idea yo!

  • If your prediction comes true we know who wins that one.

Taker is undefeated at Wrestlemania and I don't see that script changing any time soon.
