Overused: Vampires, Angels, Fallen Angels, Witches, Wizards, Zombies, Werewolves
Underused: Dryads, nymphs, faeries, Djinn, Anything from non-European folklore

underused: Valkyrie, Succubus, faeries, Incubus, Dragons (depends), Alps, Pontianak, griffins, goblins, phoenix, Pegasus, whistling snake, Espumeros, Caballucos del diablo, Nephilim, Giants, Lamia, Bicha, Culebre, Duende, Satyrs, Centaurs, Nymphs, Naga
Vampires , werewolves and zombies are overused. Underused are mermaids (not the little mermaid kind but sirens like in the new pirates 4) banshee's , nagas , fairies , wood spirits , healing spirits , succubis and incubis.
Fairies,Dryads and treants(tree people),Dullahans and other things that reap souls,and sirens. All underused..
Vampires,werewolves,witches,wizards,angels,and, demons are all overused.
Vampires and werewolves have been done to death.
But faeries, or magick, and lesser known creatures are underused
