Help to Check a Parabola Problem?

The problem is one of those "what's your max possible profit?"

the profit function is

P(x) = 200 + 27x - 0.3x^2

I thought I could find the answer by finding the vertex.

I found (-45, 807.5) as the vertex so I took the $807.50 as the answer. Is that correct? Please tell me why it's wrong if it is.

    remember x= -b /2a in a y=ax^+bx=c

    Yes! Optimum value is the y value of the vertex.

    I think the vertex is (45,807.5) but your final answer is still correct

    (will double-check!)

    Yep! (just change x value of your vertex to be positive)
