quote for a day car insurance????????????
how much does a 1 day car insurance cost? It is the first time I need to do it, so I don't have any idea. When I try to get a quote, I'm always ask to register to the website... I don't really want to do it before having a quote :P Anyway would you please recommend me an agency?
thanks

Forget the lost yanks who say you cannot do it
No you cannot get short term insurance typically if you are under 23 years old
It will tend to work out very expensive when compared to ordinary insurance on a day basis as the set up costs are the same - unlikely to be less than £80 and could well be a lot more

You won't find an insurer who offers one-day car insurance, and anyone you find who does offer it is not an insurer.
Short-term car insurance, if it's even available where you are, is brutally expensive. I mean usually over $12,000 a year type of expensive, and it's just not worth it. Scam artists, by the way, love posing as short-term discount insurance providers. They'll happily provide you with a mountain of paper 'documentation' in exchange for a credit card number, or a Western Union transfer for the really unmotivated ones. The documents they give you are all fake, but the credit information they collect is very real.
Trust me. No matter how bad your driving record is, you're better off with a six or twelve month policy.
If you're young and/or inexperienced you won't get it.
Otherwise there are companies who specialise in such things, Google for 'daily insurance' and be prepared to pay through the nose for it.
I know of no one that sells insurance for one day. If you rent a car for a day, you sometimes have to pay an extra fee if you don't have car insurance.
