Go to Start/All programs. right click the icon for the program that you wish to create a desktop short cut. Slide over and click send to desktop. If the program doesn't show in All programs, you can go to: My comuter/"C"/Program files. Then locate the program folder for the program that you wish to create a short cut. Open that folder and scroll down to the programs open or execute .exe file. Again, right click that file and choose send to desktop, create a short cut.
Hi, in order to put icons on your desktop, you may go to your control panel and then you may right click on a program of your interest and click on create shortcut.
Go back to your desktop, you must see a new icon there.
