I don't think anyone will still use Ms-Dos as the operating system.
But knowledges from Ms-Dos are still useful, and used everyday.
The command prompt of your windows is Ms-Dos.
If you do a run "cmd", you will be entering the Dos mode.
I use it all the time for commands as ipconfig, ping, tracert etc.
Yes, there are still people who use them.
- Those people who still have old computers/servers. Since compared to Windows, MS-DOS is not a resource hog.
- Old games compability, old games work best on the OS they are designed for.
- MS-DOS works for them. It's because if you are resourceful, you can do EVERYTHING you're currently doing in your Windows on DOS.
1) For compatibility with some finance programs I wrote.
2) for computer diagnosis and repairs.
also, useful, some versions of Linux e.g. puppyos which run in RAM, and doesn't need to be installed
Technicians use it to repair faults in industry (rare though)

Yes.... for too! many things...
If you believe me, they create BASE files for OS with programs running with DOS. All important program like C++ (not Dev-C++) run on DOS...
