Comments
Baseball, and because 2,260,000 devided by 3,25 should bring you out about 600,000, and that means it increased by 325%.
Baseball
Ok. so you have A, B=2A (since its twice as long) and C = 4A+3 (since its 3 inches more than 4 times the first piece). Therefore: 38 = A + 2A + 4A + 3 (since all of them should add up to 38) subtract the 3 and add like terms and you get 35 = 7A divide both sides by 7 and you get 5=A. So the first piece is 5, the second piece is 10 (two times the first piece) and the last piece is 23 ( [4x5] + 3). 1st piece = 5 2nd piece = 10 3rd piece = 23
C. Football. it is actually 358%, but it is the closest to 325%. divide the original salary by the inflated salary and move the decimal over 3 places.
D. Baseball
Baseball, and because 2,260,000 divided by 3,25 should bring you out about 600,000, and that means it increased by 325%.
D Baseball, because its slow and boring like math
C. Football; 3.25 times $430,000 = $1,397,500.
Baseball, because there is no salary cap.
percent increase=((final-original)/original) times 100
((3530000-823000)/823000)times100=328.9% which is close to 325%
