Car dealership problem?
On monday I took out a car for a local dealer and he had me sign everything and got copies of my social security number and check stubs and bills and the sales and the insurance. He then calls me saying that I need a co-signer. I don't have one so I'm not sure if they're gonna take the car and screw me over with the $2500 I've put for down payment. Any advice on what I should do?

The dealer should have all of this straightened out before you took possession of the vehicle but speak with them. Any reputable dealer would risk a lot of bad publicity screwing a customer out of a $2500 deposit.
There are plenty of reasons you may need a co-signer even if you have $2,500 down, but you won't lose your deposit. If anything, it's the dealer who has the extra mileage and wear & tear on the vehicle they're trying to sell.
Go back there and get back your down payment. There is no reason you need a cosigner with $2500 down.
