grammar "due" or "do"?

How do you write the following?

I will love to help. However, due to my situation....

Or

I will love to help. However, do to my situation....

Comments

  • I will love to help. However, due to my situation....

  • Neither.

At best. 'I would love to help, however due to my situation...'

'due to' is better replaced with 'because', 'owing to', 'on account of' as a 'due' is that which is owed to someone or something else or it's a preposition. It is commonly used in the way you want and is widely accepted as ok. But stylistically it is considered poor and ought to be avoided.

  • Due. Do is commonly used by mistake due to pronunciation in sentences.
