ok so i finished the fraction into a degree in my math homework and now on the other side I need to made percents into degrees. anybody know how?
100% is the total, and 360 °: is the total (in a circle) so make a proportion. Say it's 35%
35/100 = d/360 then cross multiply
100d = 360(35) = 12600
divide by 100 and get d = 126 °
Change To A Percent
Make it a decimal then multiply it by 360. For example, if your percent is 25%, move the decimal two left: .25, then multiply by 360, which is 90. The degree is 90 degrees.
Take the percentage and make it into a decimal.
Then multiply that by 360
Resulting number is degrees of a circle.
Simply divide your percentage by 100.
For example:
50%
50 / 100 = 0.5
