Prom Dresses?
My boyfriend who is a junior, has asked me to go to prom with him. I'm trying to find a nice looking black and white dress, or just a plain black/plain white one. Maybe something blue. Other than that, I wouldn't like. But, I don't want anything too expensive, seeing that there would be another prom to go to with him, and I'm only a freshman. I don't want anything too..poofy..I guess you could say. I want something thin and sleek that would show off my figure. And if possible, it would be better if it was layered. If anyone knows any good websites, please let me know. Thanks!

I highly recommend trying the dress because it is hard to tell from a picture on a website. If there is a Lord & Taylor near you, give them a try - they have amazing dresses that are very nice for prom, but aren't too, as you put it, poofy!
An alternative is Zappos.com. The beauty of Zappos is free overnight shipping BOTH WAYS! So you can order a few dresses in various sizes and see which one fits and ship the rest back at no cost. They have nice designer stuff at discounted prices as well.

or some of the little dress shops in the malls in your area you can ushally find a nice dress in any style your looking for in those kind of stores for a really good price. buying a dress online may look good but you should really pick it in person for fitting reasons. espically if you want it to fit your figure!
