Word 2007 - Table of Contents Problem?

I have inserted a TOC, and have used the predefined styles. I am happy with all of the headings I have chosen to be included in the TOC except for one thing. Some of the sub-headings are in bold, and some are not. They are both using the same style, but for some reason, some of them are in bold and I can't change it!

Please help. I have searched all over the internet for troubleshooting problems but it just keeps telling me to select the style heading I want to use. I have done that, and the heading style I am using isn't bold, but some of my headings are!

  • Everything you ever wanted to know about using Word 2007's TOC is here:

The REAL problem is the actual Headings within the body of your document. TOC gets it's formatting from the heading Style settings in your document. I seriously doubt this statement: "They are both using the same style", if that were true, you wouldn't have this problem.
