do parallel worlds exist?

or when someone has a near-death experience do they actually die in a separate dimension?

I ask because I once had to revive a friend who had taken an overdose, I had only left him for 5 minutes but he looked dead when I saw him. somehow with zero medical training I managed to get him breathing again, I just cradled his body against mine and squeezed his chest in time to my own breathing and after a few minutes he just jumped up with a scared look in his eyes that I've never seen before, it took me a good while to convince him he wasn't dead because he really believed he was, he said his body was cold and felt like didn't belong to him anymore. It really scared the **** out of me and I've always wondered since then if maybe he had died in a different world or dimension? He seems to think he did....... I've since moved away and don't know him anymore.

  • The subject of parallel worlds is a complicated one. The ones like in fiction, where Spock gets a beard etc., are most likely not real. However, according to the quantum theory, every time you make a choice, the universe splits into as many copies as possible choices. In each universe, you made a different choice. In this fashion, the parallel worlds do exist.

However what you mention is just normal bodily reaction. His body was "poisoned" with his overdose, and was fighting it. Parts of it were already giving up, that's why he felt like "he didn't belong in this body". Then the remaining parts managed to fight it off and bring the rest up, but raising back functionality in the almost-dead parts took a bit of time.

  • I'm convinced there are. I do believe that people have NDE's and can see into the world that comes after we leave this world. That's fantastic and nothing to be scared of.

Read some stuff by Raymond Moody. Or a book called "The Journey of the Souls". Easy read and very interesting.

Your friend shouldn't be scared. He has seen something many people wish they'd see it.

  • Remember ther are two plane of existence. The Physical Plane and the Energy Plane with no physical existence. There are probably other planes not known to us as humans. Near death experiences are not fake, only questionable to verification proof. There are many mysteries in life we will never be able to explain.

  • Some people believe that the UFOs we see are from parallel worlds, I know I videoed something strange a few weeks ago, scroll down to see the video I took.

  • yes they do. (well i certainly hope they do)

but yes, there is a lot of speculation among the scientific community about the whole concept of alternate universes.

it would be kind of cool if they did. even cooler to travel between them.

if you have not watched the tv show fringe, do so. one recurring theme is that of parallel universes.

  • Nobody really knows.

There are theories, but nothing more. Some people share experiences but nobody can prove the reliability of their stories.

  • They might exist, but no hard evidence yet
