If you have Ever watched How the chinese Army march (PLA)
Then its prity Impressive the russians also do parades in public and even the nazis Wetchermacht used 2 do Parades that looked good
I Have 100% respect 4 our forces I just think if we showed our military might then it would be impressive 2 watch and would raise morale
Its the same 4 the US AND UK THEY Both dont do massive parades
and when they do its only like when they have returned from iraq and if your in the forces GOOD LUCK WHEN UR OUT DER n any1 thinking of joining shud

A couple of reasons
One is that the UK and US Armies have better things to do with their time. They just put together the plans for Lady Thatcher's state funeral, and it is said that the Government is hoping that she remains in good health for a very long time...becuase they don't have enough troops on had at home to line the streets of London for the funeral procession. Most of the Army is in Iraq, or Afganistan or such.
Secondly...the US and the UK are free countries. China, Soviet Russia, and Nazi Germany were not.
The REAL purpose of those large military parades was not for entertainment...if you want to put on a parade for fun, you get something like the Rose Parade, or the Oragne Bowl Parade. Lots of floats, marching bands, pretty girls in cars waving to people...that's what people enjoy seeing.
Those massive military parades were done as a signal to the people...to "keep the people in their place". It is the government's way of saying "You get out of line, we have all these troops and they will come and crush you" (which is exactly what happened at Tienamihn Square).
That is why, except for something like a WW2 Victory parade, massive military parades are not done in the US or UK. Here the Army works for the people, it does not opress or terrify them into obedience, and it isn't about to come and drive it's tanks over protesting students.
quite, the Police do desire armed forces Vets by way of 3 motives-familiar point of wellness, adulthood while in comparison with civilian hires, conscious of firearms, the Police Departments are Para-armed forces based so strategies and ranks are already regularly occurring to them, you have a base point frequently as a great way IQ is going because of the ASVAB rankings being attainable for view, and so on..and so on.. quite that maximum Departments are no longer pleased with the easy civilian they get because of the fact they do no longer look to be in as stable of shape, are no longer used to teamwork or are no longer pleased with the rank device and are frequently extra 'entitled' than the armed forces counter-area and are very nearly consistently extra immature while the age team is a similar. the united kingdom ought to have some thing like that i'm shocked they do no longer.
