Favourite songs by Fats Domino?

I've been rediscovering my love for rock n roll recently, and Fats has been my most played artist in the past month. I was wondering if anyone else digs his music? If so, what are some of your favourite tracks from this pioneering legend?

BQ: Favorite artists from the 50s?

Thanks so much

Update:

Hey Harvey, nice to see you :)

  • Fats is one of my all time favorites. I've never heard a bad track. Some a little uninspired, some a bit to similar to some others, but never a bad cut.

Be My Guest is not only my favorite Fats, but one of my favorite songs, which some of my contacts could probably tell you, since I've lost count of how many times I've posted it ;)

Listen closely and you can hear the inspiration for ska, and in turn, rock steady and reggae.

A few others I particularly dig-

  • I like Harvey's list.

Besides the obvious Elvis, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry....etc try The Four Freshman, Dion and the Belmonts, Danny and the Juniors for a good 50's listen.

  • "Let The Four Winds"

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpuMXRlLiQI

Surprised at the quality. Always a favorite, with that New Orleans beat pulsing underneath.

So much going on in the 50s, we forget what a wild, creative period was underway. All the dismay from parents while Pres Eisenhower smiled and said "Teenagers are like airplanes. We only hear about that ones that crash." So, I won't take up space listing the many, many artists who fill my collection.

  • Blueberry Hill ...I like the pathos in his voice

    Blue Monday

BQ: Tony Bennett, Otis Redding, Stax Records, Link Wray, Buddy Holly, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Cannonball Adderley, Woody Guthrie, Odetta, Nina Simone

  • Oh you silly Brit, Philip the ll of Spain has never listened to him before

    I do however enjoy:

    Elvis

    Chuck Berry

    Benjamin Britten

    John Cage

    Buddy Holly
