well first of all the jab is fine! i am a fainter so anything with blood or gore makes me feel dizzy and i pass out so i was worried about the jab, but the truth is don't work yourself into a state, you sit down and the lady talks to you (i suggest look away after this) and mid sentence the lady jabs you, when it happens its fine doesn't hurt what so ever unless you are majorly muscular. after the jab you have a bit of cotton wool pressed up to the cut and you wait 5 mins before going back to class, after a while your arm feels numb and hurts a bit, like really achey but isn't that bad just feels like you have a bad arm. its fine don't worry i have had my jab and was so proud of myself after think about it like this if jade goody and thousands of other women had have had this jab then they may have recovered from it hope this helped p.s my second one is soon
1. It hasn't been around long enough to know if there are any proper side effects, it just came out of no where. A new drug in the 1960's came out which was meant to cure morning sickness and it didn't, it deformed hundreds of babies, and caused several miscarriages.
The chances of actually getting cervical cancer are slim. You only need to worry about getting it if you're having unsafe sex. My mum had a VERY mild case of cervical cancer, but it was treated effectively as it got caught in the early stages.
I'd rather chance having cervical cancer than chancing becoming infertile, or something possibly worse.
It's not going to save that many people, the only reason why it's so publicised is because it's the first ever cancer preventing jab.
I think it's an AMAZING thing. I've had the jab, and i think that if it can cut your chances of getting cancer down even a little bit, then it's awesome!
2. if you had the jab did you have any side effects?
I have had the jab, and the only side effects i had was a bit of a sore arm after, but that happens with every jab. XD
