every picture i've found of a Mazda 3 that's any more customized than that looks like crap. i'd say go by the picture, add some nice rims and a small spoiler then put your money into performance
Keep it clean and waxed, and don't let the inside get all nasty. Otherwise, some nice wheels are a good start for the outside. Can't say which wheels, that's a very personal choice.
