How do you connect a crossover to a amp & subwoofer?

My car subwoofer has voice/sound coming about of it & the amp doesn't have a crossover control. I have a Boston S50 crossover one end says "Woofer Output" & the other end says "Crossover Input" so how do I install it?

  • from my research i found the s50 is a 51/4 mid and tweet combo, you said nothing about a sub model, and this passive crossover is designed for a mid tweet combo not a low pass subwoofer.

if the driver is 5 or 6" it is a midrange or midbass driver not a sub woofer and u need to re - ask this questi9n.

i found 50 to 20 k. hrtz. this is not a sub but add a 10 or 12'" DRIVER YOU HAVE A FULL SYSTEM.

again the s50 system has no subs but is a midbass and tweet system so the system is a mid-n-tweet combo and all u have to do is add a subwoofer.

  • the rca come from your radio and go into the crossover input then from the woofer output into the amp . then from the amp to the sub

  • the crossover is a bridge between your headunit and amp. simplicity
