A cool homemade experiment?
I have a science project which is to make an interesting and cool TOTALLY HOMEMADE experiment. I thought of the baking soda and vinegar rocket experiment but i fink its not that interesting...
Could you plz suggest me ideas and tutorials (if needed)...

Have you ever extracted starch from potatoes? Did you know that you can?
Just finely grind several potatoes and let the shreds soak in water(just cover the shreds barely) for about ten minutes. Then squeeze out the access water (don't discard the water or the shreds, just separate them.) Let the water sit and don't disturb. After about a half hour you should see potato starch settled at the bottom of your bowl. You can slowly pour of the water to get to your starch.
You may be able to soak some more starch out of your potato shreds, just soak them again.
I know this is not the greatest experiment either, but I can guarantee you, most people don't know you can do that.
I suggest you make magic. How: You need the following: water, phenolphthalein, and white vinegar.
Add 3 drops of phenolphthalein in water and it will turn to pink.
To remove the pink you add the white vinegar.
To turn back it into pink add again add water.
That's it.
Alternative power sources: potato and lemon batteries, wind or water generator...
