Which do you prefer Ada or Aida?

We're considering the name Ada (Ay-duh) but I think the spelling Aida is much prettier, however Aida is traditionally pronounced Eye-ee-duh, which I dont like at all.

Do you think you could pronounce the name Aida like Ay-duh or should we stick to Ada?

BQ: What do you think of the middle name Lily?... Ada Lily/ Aida Lily

    While I think both names are beautiful in their own right, be aware that most people are going to think the name Aida is pronounced "Aye-ee-duh", the way it is pronounced in the opera of the same name. I think you can pronounce it however you like, though, if you like that spelling. Have you thought of Ayda or Aeda? Those are some unique spellings.

    Lily is a fresh, pleasant name that's growing in popularity as of late. I'm of the opinion that it would look better as a first name next to a middle name like Christine or Claire. Regardless, it's a really lovely female name, and you should use it however you see fit! Good luck! :)

    Aida :) but I prefer Ada Lily but Aida Lily is still nice.
