My friend and I want to go down to the states to shop. We want to drive there. However, I am 18 right now and she is 22. Will I be able to cross the border without a parent's letter?
You're 18 - you're an adult, so you'll be fine. All you will probably need to show is a valid driver's license and a passport (oh, and make sure you have your vehicle registration handy also). And make sure to hide all the items that you're bringing back very carefully unless you wanna pay loads of tax!
Yep. The border guards do not care how long you would be staying interior the U. S. - of their eyes, you're an unaccompanied minor crossing the border, so which you like that notarized letter and your passport.
You are 18, you are fine. Unless you have a court order which gives total authority to your parents to handle/control you due to a medical condition, you won't need anything but your passport.

For ages 18 and older, no parental consent is required.Hope it helps.

Yes you will...you are both legal adults. Only kids under 18 need a letter of permission. You will both need passports.
