Is a 2 day period normal?

Last month I got my period for a total of 7 days and this month I got it and the first days was normal but the second day was heavy and near the end of the second day it just stopped.

  • How old are you? If you have only had your period for a few years, it could still be in the process of becoming stable. It can take up to 5 or 6 years before a steady schedule is established. One thing that you could do is consider going on birth control. -It will make it lighter, shorter, less painful, and you'll always know about when it is coming.

However, if you are a fully grown woman, I did not mean to offer up suggestions better suited for a teen. Birth control still wouldn't be a bad thing, but if this is happening and you are older than your late teens, I would see a doctor.

    Good luck!

  • I consider at the age of thirteen and simplest just opening her lifestyles cycle... Its now not too much to fear about. I started off having quite horrible 7 day ones and now mine are 4 weekly 4/5 day ones... It takes a whilst for them to settle... But in case you are unsure or your sister is in any soreness, then go see a general practitioner. They can perpetually run some tests just to be certain everythings exceptional... Additionally speak to your mum... I hate to claim it but mum's comprehend the whole thing and most mums are honoured when thier daughters feel capable to speak with them about these matters! Hope this helps.

  • i think of on the age of 13 and basically in basic terms beginning her existence cycle... its no longer too lots to subject approximately. i all started out having incredibly terrible 7 day ones and now mine are 4 weekly 4/5 day ones... it takes a on an analogous time as for them to settle... yet once you're uncertain or your sister is in any discomfort, then pass see a doctor. they are in a position to constantly run some exams just to make particular everythings high quality... additionally communicate on your mum... I hate to assert it yet mum's understand each thing and maximum mums are honoured whilst thier daughters experience waiting to speak with them approximately those issues! desire this permits.

  • Yep I get this all the time - sometimes it only last two days. It's totally normal and random so don't worry about it at all!

  • Yes you [have no reason to be worried at all!!!

Our bodies work in mysterious ways. It could be from that you are a little more stressed this month. It is completley normal so dont worry

  • just consider yourself lucky! ..though your period may be irregular. irregular isn't bad, it's just whether or not you like being that way. by that i mean, being surprised by it or expecting it, etc. because your period only lasted for 2 days, it may come back later on in the week. that happened to me before. i'm on birth control so it's generally shorter, but sometimes it'll randomly come back on day 6. so just be aware, lol.

  • ur lucky u should be happy yes its normal your very luck some people have it longer then 7 days. when i was a little yunger i used to have it realy bad and then skip a mouth.

  • umm if you're still in that awkward teen stage (like me) then that's most likely pretty normal. you can talk to your doctor about it, but most likely he/she will tell you the same thing.
