From Castelo Branco to Idanha-a-Nova?

How do I get from Castelo Branco to Idanha-A-Nova? (I'm going to the Boom Festival). I heard there was a bus but the Rede Expresso (or something like that) busline said not to drive between the two. Is there another busline or would I have to take a cab? How expensive is it to take cabs in Portugal anyway? I believe it is around 37 km from Castelo Branco to Idanha-a-Nova, but I might be wrong about this.
