why do Brides dresses cost like $10,000?

who made up that price for a piece of cloth? How is a dress worth as much as a small car??

  • Because they know people will pay it.

I would never pay over $100 for any article of clothing. I'm prepared to be married in jeans.

  • Because they know that they are a unique line of dresses that are still desperately needed by a population of young women...so they charge whatever the hell they want. Pigs. But, you should still be able to find a dress for a price fairly reasonable, if you try hard enough. Don't shop custum made.

    Peace

  • When someone pays that much for a dress, they are paying for the name of the designer label that is on it, not the item itself. As a friend of mine once said, the person buying something will pay as much as it is worth to them.

To bad really. That would have made a nice down payment on a small house.

  • Why does an old penny bring thousands? Because someone out there is silly enough to pay it, and set a precedent.

  • They don't.

Mine was $600 give or take, and it was beautiful, in 2005.

Gotta buy off the rack, not custom.

But since this is politics, read this.

  • Because most young women don't care about the value of a dollar when someone else is footing the bill......I can see how this fits into this category ............ just spend the money ...."we want"

  • Because Bush lied

  • Because people will pay it. Cost and demand.

  • Cause you need it unless you are going to have a nude wedding...if so can I come?

  • Why are you posting this question in POLITICS?
