No. Baby oil is essentially just mineral oil with fragrance. Mineral oil is an occlusive, meaning it holds in moisture. So it doesn't have much in terms of healing effects. IF -anything- it may HINDER healing since it covers up the scars and prevents air from getting in. (Air is essential in healing, I'm sure it plays a role in healing scars, too.) Try coconut oil. VIRGIN coconut oil. I hadn't seen any virgin coconut oil at places like Walmart, it may take some searching but the stuff is good.
Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Try Mederma for scars! It can be pricey (up to $40.00 for a small tube) but it works!
