Do opposites attract or not?
I came to a big realization and I don't know how to process it.
I have always been attracted to women who have a far different energy level then me. I admire a gentle spirit and calm persona. At the same time, I am the biggest extrovert and exude energy. Unfortunately, the women who I become very interested in start spending time with me and see how intense I am tell me that they don't see anything going beyond friendship because our energy's fail to match.
I don't know how to deal with that. First, because I am most definitely attracted to a person with energy opposite of me, but it seems that women aren't
So does the phrase opposites attract even exist. It hasn't seemed to work out for me. I love the fact that a gentle spirited women can bring me down and enjoy the tranquil times of life and I want to help bring her up for the excitement. What are your thoughts. Is my women out there or do I need to figure out a way to be less...me? I know many will say, you don't need to change who you are. At the same time, am I being too much sometimes, can I be intense, and if I am should I try to change.

This is what works for lots of people, including myself.
It's the "birth order" thingy.
First borns are attracted most to last borns and middle borns.
Last borns are most attracted to first borns and middle borns.
Middle borns can go up or down; they are attracted to first borns and last borns and sometimes to an only child.
An only child is attracted usually to a last born or a middle born.
There should not be more than 6 years age difference between the siblings for this to work.
A first born matched with a first born is NOT a good match, it won't last.
A last born matched with a last born is not a good match, it own't endure time either.
A middle born matched with another middle born will not last either. They probably would destroy each other.
