Is Afro a politically correct term?
Not in terms of African-American since the person him/herself doesn't need to be an American citizen. The person can be from Brazil or Mexico etc... and have no tides to Africa or the U.S. So is this a politically correct term or is there another? Once again I feel African-American is limited to those two nationalities.

Honestly I don't know but it's a term that I would use. To me, it's no different than calling an American a Yank, a New Zealander a Kiwi, or a Canadian (which I am) a Canuck! I don't think it's a derogatory term
