Used Macbook Pro airport problem?
just bought a used macbook pro, it works perfectly except that the airport doesnt work unless I'm standing within 5 feet of my router. Tech support is just trying to suck money out of me, so I'm hoping you guys could help. The funny thing is, if I leave the computer idle for a while, then wake it up. I have a full internet connection for about a minute before it drops connection again. I dont know whay the problem could be... any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The full bars at the beginning are not accurate. Ignore that.
Either the antenna is not properly attached or the card is bad.
