Backed Into A Car, No Damage...?

It was dark and rainy out and my rear window was fogged up so i accidenty bumped into this car. Their car alarm went off but nobody came out so i checked for damages and there seemed to be none to their car at all. I checked my car and it only had a small scratch of the bumper so i just left. Like i said it was a late, dark, rainy night so there were no witnesses.

  • To be honest you did what most of us would do. You waited, you got out an checked. This was an actual for mature action you did because most immature people would leave as if the police were chasing them. I mean you didn't have to get out because there were no witnesses and it was raining so you are a good man =) and there wasn't anything else left for you to do

  • If it made a "small scratch" on your bumper then it made a big scratch or damage to the other car.

Now think would you want someone to do this to your car? And leave without telling you about it?

Anyway it was nice of you to post the question here so the cops can track you down easier! Be sure to put it on Facebook also

  • So what is the question then? Lol you're not required to get report and accident that isn't over 1,000 dollars worth of damage (in NC). So even if they came out, this really wouldn't have been a issue.

  • i'm not one to decide yet what you probably did became right into a criminal offense there is not something you're able to do now yet while this ever happens returned you may call the law enforcement officers to take photographs and rfile the twist of destiny so which you heavily isn't taken benefit of and you have got a ethical experience

  • You could be a good **** and leave a note, but it would wash in the rain. And if that small damage, most likely they won't notice for a couple days, and then they wouldn't be sure where it had happened. I wouldn't worry about it.

  • If there was no damage you didn't do anything wrong.
