Microsoft word paragraph backspace problem?

I was doing this essay for english, the paragraphs are pretty large, just right now I'm editing it, but as I add more words, the number of sentences also increase. Then for some reason, two sentences from a certain page went to a new page, I know this happens when sentences gets pushed to a new page because of the added words. BUT, when I try to backspace the sentences on the next page, for it to merge with the lonely two sentences, it won't budge, I can't get it to work and I need it to be properly formatted. :(

PLEASE HELP, I'm not that good at the functions of word.

  • There's only so much space on a page. You don't say why paragraphs breaking over a page is so bad, because it's not normally a problem.

Pagination is normally something that I leave until I've finished typing all the content. Then I can decide if going down a point-size with the font will make stuff line-up nice. And if I'm desperate then I'll look at the line-spacing and kerning. (There's a few keywords for you to look-up in the Help files.)

  • Copy all the text, open a new document, right click, and select "Paste Text Only".

That should clear all the formatting.

(Only works in Office 2007 or later)

Also, please don't duplicate questions next time.
