She is a brittney spaniel and she growls when people try to take away a toy or when you growl at her she will growl louder. I am worried. Maybe its from when she got poisoned. Maybe thats it but i still want a anwser.
I am rather dubious that this if from when she got poisoned. Its probably more likely that she is spoiled. There is nothing wrong with spoiling your dog until she decides that she is in charge not you. I would not advise trying to curb this growling and guarding behavior without the help of a professional trainer. She may be ok this way as long as you are careful but someday someone will take something from her or do something that she does not like and she may bite.
You and your dog should go to obedience classes together. Growling at her while trying to take her toy is an aggressive move against her in her doggie mind. Aggression is different from being dominant in that it is unprovoked, uncalled for, and overreative. You should train the dog the leave it command so she drops her toy before you take it from her. Taking a toy should be a quick and quiet happening (take and go) and should not be something that causes a great big stir. When the human makes a big stink out of it, the dog learns to follow suit.

So I would invest in some training.
