No... total Hollywood. How many true stories do you know of that have 3 endings?
1.) Theatrical ending (Micah thrown at the camera) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXeaZMl22fQ
2.) Alternate ending #1 (cops killing Katie): this is the only one I can't find on youtube
3.) Alternate ending #2 (Kate slits her throat:): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdwFsxCN__I

Of course it's real, do you even watch the news?
No.
Absolutely not.
There are alternate endings on the DVD and stuff.
That's a sure fire way to know its not real.
But I mean form the way it was made and stuff you should've been able to tell.
No. So why am I STILL sleeping with my bedside table lamp on after watching it on DVD a week ago?
No. Although it was filmed in a way that made it look "realistic",(ex. handheld camera) the movie was not real.
nope they hyped it up like it was real, and then i saw both actors on the jay leno show, and i felt cheated. still a good movie i guess....
it says in the end
the events and characters shown in the film are fictional,
geez people, you supposed to read those words at the end
i dont believe in any of that sci fi stuff, the movie was obviously scripted
