The 2008 Acura MDX is a good, family kind of vehicle. It is also rather sporty. However, price can seem to lead you away from it. You could have a much less flashy cousin of the MDX (the Honda Pilot) for much less.
The MDXs are nice and have a smooth ride and certainly not awful gas mileage. ALSO, IT IS ULTRA-LOW EMISSIONS, something most cars cant say to all of you enviromentalists who think they know this stuff.
(The guy above must not know he drove a sport)
but the price doesnt compare with the CX9.
Of course an Acura is different from a Mazda, but it did get Motor Trend Car of the Year.
Very high, it is a great car and is recommended by Consumer Report Canada, despite its slightly high price. One of the better three-row, car-based SUVs, the MDX has a strong, refined powertrain and pleasant ride, though road noise is pronounced. The interior features a 50/50-split third row bench that increases passenger capacity to seven or stows easily into the floor. The MDX feels agile but does not inspire confidence in emergency handling, even with its standard stability control. The MDX is the car to buy. I would also recommend its competitor the Lexus RX-330. They are both nice cars.
A way overpriced Honda Pilot with a "Sport Package". If you want room, get the Mini Van, has way more Cubic Feet in cargo space than that, for less price and better gas mileage.
The so called SUVs are just a fad, they are like belly buttons, everybody has one :-))

Its an environmental crime to drive this gas guzzler!
Why should I breath the poisonos exhausts of this overweight SUV?

A nice vehicle except for the harsh ride and miserable gas mileage. I test drove one and ended up buying a TSX.
nothing to brag about- had one as a loaner while my tsx was being serviced. If I were to choose I rather have the RDX. Not into suv's tho.
It is an excellent car car and has a great value.
All SUV are absolute criminals... environmental terrorists. No one needs to drive the "SUV" vehicles. I would say less than 5% even see dirt.
