Good contemporary text do do for drama?
I need to do a scene from a contemporary text for drama but i have no idea what play i should do. Something which i can bring depth, truth and flexibility to. Anyone have any ideas?

If it's something you enjoyed reading, then I imagine you'll find what you're looking for in terms of depth. The rest of what you're looking for is very subjective. Also, you didn't say how easily you could get your hands on a play that someone might suggest. Also, are you looking for a monologue?
Sticking to the plays that are almost always in stock in any drama school, you should find what you need. But they tend to be not contemporary if by that you mean within the last few years.
If you can find it, there is a compilation called, "Morning, Noon and Night" And it has almost every type of modern monologue you could ask for. An auditioner's dream. If you don't have a ready supply of plays to choose from, pick out some movies and try them. Pick stuff from the 90's or 80's with strong female actors and rent a few. I bet you could have some great ideas from legal dramas.
