Car battery problem ?
I drive a 92 ford explorer and for some reason my battery just died out of nowhere I was driving round then parked it for maybe a half hr then battery is completely dead not even a dome light on and yes every light was off nothing was on and door was closed shut then got it jumped and drove for like 20 miles shut it off to check it and wouldn't turn back on so what could be the problem? P.S. it is VERY cold here and I have a car system hooked up but it always was off when car was and when I'm driving my lights dim and feels like it wants to stall and when I'm at a red light it will stall ( it's a automatic) if I don't put it in N and give it some gas to keep it going

your alternator is probably finished
your car can run without one but after about half an hour it will stall becuse it is out of power
look in your dash when you get the car running again, there should be a battery light. it is there becuse your alternator isnt working, try knocking on your alternator or jiggleing the wires from your battery posts and your alternator. it might make your alternator kick back in. youll know that its working again when the battery light gose back off.

no matter what, youll need a boost or to charge your battery to get it started again
The battery desires to get replaced besides. Discharging to the point that the vehicle should be bounce all started is extremely not consumer-friendly on the battery, and doing that some cases is bound doom. Batteries are consumer-friendly to modify, yet observe that some radios (do not study Mazdas) desire a particular safe practices code to reactivate them after battery replace. almost any save that sells batteries will sense free to research the battery and the charging gadget for loose. It takes little or no time and nets them a number of sales of the right parts. only a hunch, yet in an 11 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous vehicle I anticipate the mission to be in simple terms the battery. The alternator ought to very last some extra years.
The most likely cause is the internal battery short, there is no alternator or battery charger on earth that will charge it.
So before spending any money, have both the battery and the alternator checked in a specialized shop.
Odds are you will have to change just the battery.
