How can I calm myself from paranoia quickly?
I just woke up around 2am and I saw my dog wasn't in the room with me. I usually sleep with her for comfort. I got up to go get her, but she didnt want to come back. Now I'm sitting here in my room literally shaking and freaking out about every sound I hear. I know it would help to lock all the doors in the house, but I've already done that. Are there any more ways to make myself more comfortable so I can go back to sleep?

I usually make myself a cup of warm water and smoke a doobie and take my dog for a wonder I feel safe as houses with my best friend ! They really do help with keeping us in check

Think happy thoughts like a favorite movie or nice place you visited. Breathe in and out slowly, to relax.
Leave a light on, say good night to the dog, say a prayer, and put on some sounds...

Smoking pot has helped with PTSD. Make sure the windows are locked too.
