Americans can queue (form lines) very easily. It's kind of a steretype that people in the UK do that anyway. One never ever hears about "an American crowd that got out of hand and ended up crushing someone", yet it happens relatively often in the UK at concerts and football/soccer matches.
Where I live in America, people get in lines to be served all the time, if that's what you mean? I don't ever see big crowds of people or riots ever. Didn't even know that was some sort of stereotype!
