I am trying to access is https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.d... but it looks down. I checked it at http://www.isup.me/ and the site says it is just me. I tried open it from another device and another internet provider but the site is down although the main site is up: www.uscis.gov is ok.
is https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus down at you? or really it is just me?!

The link is from uscis.gov. It is not a trash link as some would have you believe. I have the same issue. It may be that there is no one manning the system at this time (Sunday and tomorrow being a federal holiday) so we just have to wait til Tuesday. I've seen this happen before. By the way, you either want to click on the link in the email www.uscis.gov but not a sponsored link like www.immigrationdirect.com/USCIS

I have been trying to reach that site for a few days now too, and cannot reach it, the browser gives me an error.

I assume you are trying to follow that link from an email. If so think yourself lucky it is not there as it is a scam link. It would have totally trashed your machine. Use your brain before following links.
The site IS up, but not the one you asked it. You want the httpS:// site and the worthies at isup force you to strip the https from your url. What IS up, is the http:// site, and the task it performs is merely redirecting your browser to the httpS:// link. So, it is up, but not the one you want.
