do normal digital camera record video?

Normal mean one that you can buy mainly everywhere
I am getting one for my birthday and want to get one that can record video i you know any ones under £100 or $150 pls tell me

Many little P&S cameras do video, too, but none of them do it as well as a camcorder.
If you expect one tiny camera to do it ALL, don't expect miracles in features or quality.
Well, I don't know what you mean by "normal", but majority of the digital cameras do record video.
I agree with Bobert. Either do not record sound with your videos, get an external or wireless microphone, or don't zoom during your videos.
