The quickest way is if you have a memory card reader in your PC just take the memory card out of your camera and put it into your PC, windows will pick it up as a drive and you can use windows explorer to get you pics.
If you have to use a USB. Install the software for it and then plug it in. windows will now set it all up for you. You should be able to go to windows explorer and find the camera open that up and then look for the files you want.

is it a digital camera if yeah just plug it in threw the usb and drag and drop or depending on the camera a message will come up when connected to your computer and ask you if you want to copy your pics and stuff if its a video camera it depends on what kind you have
