Nvida graphics cards?

So I'm buying a new laptop for gaming and in my old computer I had a radeon 5000 series, not sure which one. So what's the equivalent to a radeon 5000 in a nvida gpu. An also how good is a GT 610M?

  • ok the radeon 5000 series is equivalent to The nvidia GTX 400 or 500

And the GT 610M 2 gb i'm assuming... is equivalent to a radion HD 7670M

it is a very good card for a laptop it is a gaming card you will be able to play all modern games on high setting just watch your temps i would recommend if you are buying a gaming laptop you should also buy a cooling pad with fans in helps a lot with temps and will prolong the life of your laptop a good investment you can get them quite cheap

  • I think the other guy is trolling you, the GT 610M is the entry level card in Nvidia's 600 Series, it is built in no way to play games, and your other question is hard to answer a Radeon 5000 series could be a 5350 or a 5970, which are both at opposite ends of the spectrum, performance wise. Don't buy it, you WILL be disappointed, its not horrible but you will have low framerates which you will find unbearable.
