How long does US Citizenship Process take?
My mom is applying for citizenship soon. But I head that a citizenship process can take a very very long time. Up to 8 months? If so, is there other way to speed up the process?

As far as immigration processes go, 8 months is nothing. Some people wait 24 years for a Green Card. But it shouldn't take more than 6 months, because that's the current processing time.
It currently takes 3 to 4 month from start to the interview stage. The big unknown is the date for the Oath Ceremony, which is the final step.
For example, Los Angeles has 15 Oath Ceremonies per month on average, Podunk Holler, Nebraska, has 4 per year. If you live in a big city, your mom should be done within 5 months or so. If you live in the remote areas of the Ozark Mountains, it can indeed take over 6 months simply she would have to wait for the next Oath Ceremony to take place.
No, there is no way to speed this up.
the aim is 6 months start to finish
