Need help finding a doctor who specializes in meralgia parasthetica?

Can anyone help me find a surgeon who specializes in Meralgia Parasthetica?

I have been diagnosed with meralgia parasthetica and no conservative measures have helped. All of the doctors I have seen just keep trying to fill me up with pills and I do not want to depend on any medication and besides it does not help with the pain. I know surgery is an option but no one in Albuquerque, NM (where I live) does this type. Can anyone point me in t the direction of someon who can help?

    You might try a neurologist. I was not aware that surgery would help.
