Then you can right click and copy the picture from the web site and paste onto the body of your email or your signature. This method will not work using the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.
Photos that are based on your computer will not copy and paste in most email providers mail.
I saw this answer that says it cant be done with Yahoo...sooooooooooo, if the above does not work try what is mentioned below...
it's simple with yahoo u can not.
the only option is to attach the photo and the reciepient will have to open or save it or if u don't have the file u can place a link to the file on the web
other email services such as aol will allow u to insert the picture or u can get some free email accounts like aol or gmail and set them up in outlook or win mail which allows u to insert photos or if u upgrade to yahoo mail plus for $20/yr u can set up the account in outlook which will allow u to insert pics (u have to upgrade in order to use yahoo with outlook) if ure not familiar with outlook as i say below click on my pic and send me an email and i'll explain
if u want more info just click my pic and send me an email and we'll talk about it, always glad to

Another suggestion..
* To email one picture or 200 pictures or any thing in between. If it is one picture left click on the picture one time. It will turn blue, on the left side of the page you see a list of options select (email this file)
If it several pictures you want to email at once click start then My Pictures, on the left side click (Make a new folder) and name it. Either drag and drop or copy and paste all the pictures you want to send into the new folder.
Then left click the folder one time, it will turn blue. On the left side of the page click (email this folders files) a email page will open, insert the address amd click send.
You can drag it into each individual email, or you can put the picture where it says to put your signature. There is usually a place to put a signature that will show up at the end of each email. This is where you should place it. Hope that helps

If you mean in a form where someone you're sending it to can download it, you HAVE to do it as an attachment. If it's hosted online somewhere, like Photobucket or TinyPics, you can insert a link to the picture by clicking on the "Hyperlink" icon while you're composing the message.

In order to embed a picture in the body of a yahoo email your photos needs to be web based on a site like:-
http://www.flickr.com/
http://photobucket.com/
http://fotopic.net/
http://www.snapfish.com/info17
Then you can right click and copy the picture from the web site and paste onto the body of your email or your signature. This method will not work using the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.
